On cruise days, the ride itself isn’t the stressful part – the curb is. Where to meet, how long it will take, and what happens if the pickup plan changes at the last minute.
Seattle cruise season brings heavy volume through the terminals, which is why everything from SeaTac pickup lanes to the ship’s loading zone can feel hectic.
Starline turns that bustle into calm. Since 2007, we’ve specialized in cruise transfers between SeaTac, hotels, and Piers 66 or 91, with clear communication, real-time dispatch coordination, and hands-on luggage assistance, so your ride feels like part of the vacation.
“My wife and I took a cruise from Terminal 91, and Starline brought us to the terminal in a beautiful town car. The driver helped us with our bags and made sure we boarded before leaving. When we docked, he was waiting for us. An excellent limo service.”

How it works
Most cruise-day stress happens at the curb, not on the drive. If you’re looking for ways to make your transfer more enjoyable, here is what a reserved cruise post limo service with Starline looks like.
1. Request a quote
Tell us your date, group size, luggage needs, and any special requests.
Flying in the day before? No problem. Simply request two transfers: SeaTac to the hotel and the hotel to Pier 66/Pier 91.
2. Review your price
We email a competitive, distance-based rate. If everything looks good to you, follow the instructions in our quote email to complete your reservation.
3. Reserve online
Your reservation is confirmed by our dispatch team and assigned to a chauffeur/vehicle.
4. Pickup coordination
Airport arrival: After collecting luggage, call the driver when you reach the curb. (Other airport pickup options are detailed in the FAQ section below.)
Hotel departure: Your driver phones before pickup to confirm they’re en route.
Cruise-ship arrival: Your chauffeur calls 1 hour before docking to confirm the gangway meeting spot and timing.
5. Pier-side or curb-side greeting, then relax en route
Hand over your bags and settle into a spotless, climate-controlled vehicle. We handle traffic and timing all the way to the pier, airport, or hotel while you unwind.

What payment methods do you accept, and when do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash. A credit card is required to secure your reservation, but you won’t be charged until your trip is complete.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
We understand plans can change. If you need to adjust your reservation, email or call us at (206) 261-1191 as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your updated schedule.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least two hours before your scheduled pickup will receive a full refund when you call us at (206) 261-1191. If you’d prefer to cancel by email, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Remember that no-shows will be billed for the full amount plus a 20% fee.
Where do I meet my chauffeur at the SEA Airport?
Choose the pickup style that suits you when you book:
- Baggage-claim curbside (fastest, $0): collect bags, note the exit door, call us, and your driver pulls up within minutes.
- Meet-and-Greet (+$20 to base fare): chauffeur waits at your carousel with a sign and escorts you out.
- Ground-transportation lot (longest walk, $0): head to the taxi/for-hire area; look for the vehicle marked “Starline.”
Where do I meet my chauffeur at the cruise port?
Your chauffeur will call you one hour before your scheduled pickup. Keep your phone handy onboard. When you’ve gathered your bags, call the driver back, walk to the ship’s loading/unloading zone, and stay on the line. The chauffeur pulls right up to the gangway, spots you in real time, and loads your luggage, so you are not wandering the pier or hunting for the car.
How long will the driver wait if I’m running late?
Every reservation includes a complimentary 45-minute grace period (for SEA Airport or Cruise Terminal). If you need more time, we simply add wait time in 15-minute blocks.
Can you pick us up at the airport, drop us off at the hotel, and then take us to the cruise port the next day?
Yes. Many cruise trips don’t line up perfectly with flight schedules, so we often handle two separate transfers:
- Day 1: SeaTac to your hotel
- Day 2: your hotel to Pier 66 or Pier 91
Just request both rides when you get a quote (or book them back-to-back), and we’ll coordinate a ride for each leg of the transfer.
Can you provide a car seat (child seat)?
Yes, we can provide a car seat for $15. Please request it in your online booking. We can help position it, but for liability reasons, we cannot install the seat or secure your child. You can also bring and install your own car seat at no charge. For round trips, we can keep the seat in place for the return ride. (Under Washington State law, if your child is under 8 years old or shorter than 4'9", whichever comes first, they must use a car or booster seat.
If you’d like us to supply a car seat, please include this request in your online booking.
Can you store my car seat between transfers?
Yes. If you bring your car seat and book a round-trip with us, we’ll tag and store it and bring it for your return ride, so you do not have to lug it onto the ship. There is no extra charge.
Ready for a stress-free cruise day?
If you’re booking cruise port limo service for your family, your parents, or a group traveling with lots of bags, we’ll make the transfer the easiest part of the day.
